Bali Visa UK ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data when you use balivisauk.com and our visa services. We comply with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU 27/2022) and, for EU clients, the GDPR.

What data we collect
To provide our visa services we may collect:
- Identification: full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport details and photo, visa history and other government ID
- Contact: email, phone, residential and mailing address
- Financial: payment details such as bank transfer information — card numbers are processed by secure third-party gateways and not stored by us
- Travel: itinerary, flights, accommodation and purpose of visit
- Sensitive data: biometrics, health information or criminal record checks, only with your explicit consent and only where Indonesian immigration requires it
- Technical: IP address, browser, device, operating system and usage data from cookies

How we use your data
We process your data on a lawful basis, for these purposes:
- Visa processing: preparing and submitting your application to Indonesian immigration (performance of contract)
- Communication: status updates, enquiries and support
- Legal compliance: immigration, financial and data protection law, including PDP and GDPR
- Service improvement: analysing usage and feedback (legitimate interest)
- Fraud prevention and security
- Any other purpose you explicitly consent to

Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting and reporting requirements — typically for the duration of your application and up to 5 years after the service is completed.
Data is then securely deleted or anonymised.

How we share your data
We never sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:
- Indonesian authorities: immigration offices, embassies or consulates processing your visa
- Service providers: payment processors, couriers, IT and cloud hosting, contractually bound to protect your data
- Legal obligations: where required by law, court order or regulation
- International transfers: your data is processed in Indonesia; for EU clients we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses

Depending on your location and the applicable law (PDP or GDPR), you have the right to:
