2026 Update
Yes. The UK is not on Indonesia's visa-exempt list, so every British passport holder needs a Visa on Arrival or an e-Visa to enter Bali.
Confirmed by the Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi under Permenkumham No. 22 of 2023 and its amendments. In-person biometrics have also returned for some long-stay visas since May 2025.
