The rules that shape every UK application this year.

    No visa-free entry for UK passports

    Unchanged

    British travellers still need a VOA, e-VOA or a visa arranged in advance (Permenkumham No. 22 of 2023).

  2. 02

    VOA and e-VOA: 30 + 30 days

    IDR 500,000

    30 days on entry, extendable once in Bali for another 30. Same fee on arrival or online.

  3. 03

    Tourist Visit Visa for longer stays

    IDR 1,500,000

    Up to 60 days, extendable — official processing around 5 working days.

  4. 04

    The All Indonesia platform

    Since Sept 2025

    Entry formalities now run through one integrated online platform.

  5. 05

    Biometrics are back for some visas

    Since May 2025

    Certain long-stay applications and every VOA extension need an in-person fingerprint and photo appointment.

  6. 06

    The Bali tourist levy

    IDR 150,000

    A separate charge for every visitor, paid online — not part of the visa fee.
